The Need to Sponsor Native Missionaries, Preachers & Volunteers

• Sponsorship and Training Programs to financially support and mentor local pastors in Uganda in a bid to establish a forum through which accountable leaders rooted on the right biblical principles will be able to expand the kingdom of God.
• High level of poverty. We all agree to the importance of training. However training someone how to fish yet they neither have a boat nor fishing hook or net may undermine the gist of the training. The Pastors’ time schedule is often very hectic; it’s divided into both ministry and regular work limiting their ability to afford taking care of their families adequately. Their challenges are therefore numerous; some as plain as the inability to obtain basic needs requirements for their families and others as elusive as failure to balance ministry due to external financially related problems and general fatigue or stress as a result of ministry shortages, among others. Financial support would help curb most of these challenges and enable the pastor to be more effective.
• In service delivery, Commission International will prioritize on the poorest and most vulnerable yet result oriented pastors who have the capacity to reproduce themselves. Therefore, through this sponsorship program from Geist Community Church, we shall be able to support these individuals to evangelize, disciple and plant more churches nationwide.  We shall also be to committed in providing quarterly leadership trainings and provide a forum for Pastors’ care and fellowship.
