The Need for Training 

• In today’s fast-paced environment, leaders need a broad perspective, vision, and acute awareness of the trends and developments shaping the world. Effective Leadership Training can motivate, influence and increase future overall effectiveness. Unfortunately, little or no attention is given to preparing tomorrow’s leadership. Perspectives have dwindled to personal achievement, ignoring the global. Sadly, conformists and imitators are groomed. Society has been gravely damaged and handicapped by well-meaning leaders who have never learned the principles of leadership Active learning opportunities are available for individuals and teams from churches who join us on holiday missions or on special call which provide experience and first hand training working as part of a wider team.
• Theological leaders have always stated that the church in Africa is a kilometer wide yet one inch deep. Over the years, this statement has been proven to be true as most churches have been started by untrained leaders whose only basis for ministry was their encounter of Christ’s love through the power of the gospel. More so, the misguided prosperity gospel today is quickly infiltrating the church in Africa causing a doctrinal imbalance and endangering the very basis of the gospel. There is an urgent need for pastors to be trained and rooted in the word of God if the work of the kingdom is to be expanded or the church in Africa is at stake.

• Commission International offers training in character development, identity and discipline consistent with Christian leadership to young people within and outside the city. Our vision is to recruit, train and send out leaders for missionary work. Well balanced and all round leaders equipped with skills to provide responsible effective leadership in various capacities in society and in the Church.
