Pabo IDP Camp – Over 19,000 People Fed

We championed a major relief and aid mission to Pabo IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Camp with a team of 120 volunteers recruited by Commission International and visited the northern Uganda war tor region and the Amuru IDP camp, feeding over 19,000 people who had faced extreme devastation from the long lived war between the LRA rebels (Lord’s Resistance Army) of UPDF (Uganda People’s Defense Forces).

Special thanks to UN-World Food Program for responding to our request for a major food supply, UPDF for security and safety of our teams during the missions. And all the churches, friends and families that gave extra items like bedcovers, clothes, shoes, mosquito nets, transport and general welfare of the volunteer teams that devoted to go serve humanity, etc.
